yes, SHEEP MAY SAFELY GRAZE has been accepted by BREATH AND SHADOW magazine. I’m pleased with this sale, the story was one of a pair I wrote dealing with the life of an ‘old-time’ shepherd, and now both have sold and should be out next year.

Lookit you being all writerly and stuff!!! Halloo from the surprisingly unsnowy state of Michigan, USA; it being winter here, all that brown stuff outside is quite disappointing. I posted a letter to you a little over a week ago, so I hope it reaches you soon. I’ve missed your letters and must blame the bloody depression–the big black dog, as I call it–for my silence. Don’t get me wrong, I like big black dogs, but they do seem emblematic of depression to me, hence the euphemism. Write on! Much love & virtual hugs from Janine. :-)
